European |Journeyman – Our first year in Poland

Following the last update link we were rocked by the news that Heracles have paid the release clause for our Keeper Pardel for €49,500. So we needed a goalkeeper this winter. We looked around and this player stood out, 12 clean sheets from 20 games in our division. The DOF invested €195,000 in him and we have our keeper for next year sorted.

I looked at extending Marczewski loan but within that noticed he was transfer listed by request so asked the board to sign him and they did. He will join us in the summer.

Results

Whilst we dropped a few points we still managed to hold on to secure the title for promotion to the top division.

After promotion we were given a small budget, which is to be expected after our expenditure this season and our signings were with next season in mind. I think the plan is –
Priority is a Right winger then backups in these positions – Goalkeeper, Centre Back, Striker and Centre Midfielder.

Only a short update here to round up the season. In the next post we will see how we get on over the summer and in top flight.
