After missing out on promotion last season we wanted to push for promotion this year. After a solid start we hit January and needed to make some moves in the window. Following the sales of 5 players, Goalkeeper Kokubo left with just 6 months left on his deal. Frankfurt then came in with a €6.5m move for Tanner who we signed the first summer here, They have agreed to loan him back until the summer. Babadi who was signed just before I joined has played poorly and is on high wages so I looked to loan him out to try and get a move for him in the summer. Hrustic was then sold for €5m and Baumann for €1.2m. Following this I needed 3 players, A GK, CM and DM Dwomoh joins to help improve our creativity going forward. Ajax’s first choice keeper joins 2.Bundesliga side. With just 6 months left on his deal he was available now for a cheap price so we moved for him. We managed to secure promotion via the playoffs and after 2 seasons we are back in top flight football. Neris finished on 17 goals but had the highest xGP90. Haug won the ball back more than anyone per 90 and both my GKs did well. €8.5m of sales with the main ones being Neris €1.4m, Babadi €1m Jankovic €6.75m Following the promotion I wanted to bring in experience to help with the battle against relegation next year. Experienced Right Winger joins us to provide cover The one I’m most excited about, he had a big move to Palermo but never got a chance. Will be our new Left Winger Following Neris’s transfer and Tanners loan ending we needed two strikers. 3.liga top scorer with 34 goals jumps 2 divisions to lead the line for us this season. My scouts highly recommend this striker so we have taken a chance on him with him coming in as our second choice striker for this season. That means we line up like this. The target this year is to just stay up by any means. It will be a hard season, I will be hoping to make myself appealing to bigger clubs ahead of my next move.
