Welcome back!!
This will be a short update on the first half of the 2033/34 season

August

5 points from a possible 12 in the league but we beat Champions League winners INTER in the Super Cup!

September

A strong group in the Champions League

7 points from 9 in the leagye, a win in the EFL Cup and 4 points from 6 in the Champions League

October

12 points from 12 in the league, a poor draw in the Champions League before another win in the EFL Cup

November

1 point from a possible 12 in the league sees us slide down the table, 2 wins in the Champions League sees us through to the 1st knockout round

December

9 points from a possible 12 in the league before the youngsters were held to a draw in the Champions league, Knocked out of the EFL Cup in the quarters but pushed past Gillingham in the FA Cup

A second place finish sees us drawn against….

Lovely draw for Bolton

January

7 points from a possible 12 in the league and through in the FA Cup

Table

10 points off 4th already even with the games in hand i think top 4 will be a struggle.

Transfers In

Samet Kurai

Young striker signed and loaned straight out to Aston Villa for 1st team football.

Yves Vallee

Vallee was a hard one, I wanted him but I didn’t need him but we had cash to burn. I signed him and loaned him back to Lyon for 18 months. He has a recall clause and he is playing every week for them and champions League football. He’ll still only be 20 when he returns.

Transfers Out

MASSIVE SALE £107M!!! Wolves were taken over and started splashing the cash I couldn’t turn this down.
Few young players sent out on loan for first team football.

Overall a decent start to the season, top 4 is proving hard to break back into. Hopefully we can have some fun in Europe vs Real Madrid.

Come Back next time to see how the season finished.
