Welcome back, a bit of a wait since the last post but Last of Us:Part Two has distracted me! As you can see from the title We have some catching up to do.

February

13 points from a possible 15 and a magical 1-0 1st leg win against Real Madrid in CL

March

7 from 9 in the league, Real Madrid beat us 3-2 but a late 97th minute Joacy goal saw us progress on Away goals.
Through in the Fa Cup vs Liverpool, before losing to Everton on Pens.

April

9 from 15 in the league, A 4-2 agg win vs Lyon saw us progress through to the CL Semis in which we beat Atletico 4-0 in the first Leg at home.

May

Atletico pulled it back to 4-4!! before a late Valdson hat trick saw us through to the CL final!!
4 points from 6 to finish the league season before……..

Champions League Final

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNERS!!!! The game was nail biting end to end but we finally won on pens!!

Table

5th place finish but CL qualification due to being Winners

Awards

Bezerra was brillant, Valdson was amazing

Bolton fans love me!

5th trophy (I assume two playoff trophies don’t count then)

Nice to be acknowledged!!

Transfers out

Homegrown RB Ben-Ami moved on for £39m, he was a solid cover option but £39m was too good to turn down. Garitano my back up LB had 12 months left on his deal so I happily accepted £26m for him.
Jamie left for £59m due to the rise of Valdson his game time was dropping

Transfers in

Marlon

Marlon will be the long term successor at RB but he will cover both RB and LB following the departures of Ben-Ami and Garitano.

Felipe Manoel

I felt like we needed to improve one area mainly and that was LM, Manoel was highly rated by the scouts and my DOF happily spent £107m on him!

Luciano Bordagaray

A long term replacement in center midfield he goes back to Benfica on Loan

Javier Alaniz

A long term replacement striker he also goes back to Benfica on Loan

Overall a great season, and we’ve gone out and strengthened for our long term future too.
So chuffed with a Champions League win. that will go nicely with FA Cup, Super Cup and Europa League, we now need to win the League Cup, Premier League and Club World Cup to complete the lot.
