Welcome back again, Champions League winners Bolton are chasing that first Premier League title, lets see how we are getting on.

August

9 points from 9 in the league and back to back Super Cup wins!

September

7 points from 12 in the league, Newcastle battered us
A nice win vs Milan in CL

October

6 points from 12 in the league but two big wins in CL

November

6 points from 9 in the league, a Win vs Milan ensures we qualify for the knockout stages of CL and we’re through in the EFL Cup.

December

13 points from 18 in the league and a EFL Cup QF win. A fully rotated team lost 1-0 vs Celtic in CL

January

8 from 12 in the League, two wins in the FA Cup and we beat Spurs in the EFL Cup Semis to set up a Final Vs Manchester United

Table

5 points off the top with a game in hand, I want the title, so I’ve recalled both the lads at Benfica and Alles who is at Lyon to strengthen the depth for the rest of the season

Champions League

Through and we have Benfica in the next round.

Transfers In

No outs in this window just one player in

Arnoldus

One for the future, 18 year old CB, Dani and Raimbault are both 28 so hoping he will be Currie’s long term CB partner.
Saw a few clubs circling round him so made sure we struck early.

Overall a decent start to the season, with the players recalled and Arnoldus joining we have strengthened ready for the run in, I said last time the league title and EFL cup are two we are missing so being in the final gives us a chance to tick one off, 5 points off first with 15 games to go I want to really push to go for the title now.

Come back next time and see how we get on
